How to Write a Check
About this Project: Check-writing is a dying but relevant financial literacy skill. That’s because some businesses only accept checks as the primary form of payment. I worked with The Penny Hoarder staff writer Adam Hardy and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) manager Darrell Davis to develop the video concept, SEO keywords and script. The video immediately began to rank in YouTube. The video and accompanying how-to graphics were included in the story.

Key Results: How to Write a Check is still earns consistent YouTube views. The video also won a bronze Telly for general instructional video.
